I might have to re adjust where the cover lines are located but apart from that I believe my front cover is done-ish.

My teacher suggested to move my cover lines to one side and make it look more symmetrical and neat.

This is the image where I increased the contrast but because I duplicated the image I was able to erase the contrast in the eyes so the eyes are still bright and stand out. Below is a screenshot of how I did that.

Research&Planning [New Magazine Font Cover Head Shot]

 This is my old magazine front cover image which has a very dramatic, dark look and feel to it. I edited it quite a lot, it was airbrushed, the screws on the gun were removed, had to get the tones right and before importing the image into photoshop to do all this I used Adobe Lightroom because it is my favourite software for simple editing in photography.

This is my new image, I have edited it a bit but a lot more work will go into it before I can finalise the image for the front cover. What I really like about this image is that there is strong eye contact, the model clearly gives off the Hip Hop Rap vibes, a job well done. The bandana and the snap back as well as the piercing in the left ear are some of the most iconic accessories a rapper wears.

This is an update to my last post, I have messed around with many filters and tools in photoshop today in hopes to make it look nicer, I also changed my Masthead colour to Black but will do the cover lines in red and white.

Research&Planning [Model Release Form 1&Pictures]

This is the first release form that i have got since I only have a few models and I will only have release forms signed by the model if the image will be used in the magazine because it will be for commercial purposes.
