Research&Planning [FRONT COVER UPDATE]

Here is the updated version of my front cover. I have changed the fonts and colour scheme as well as the image so it has a clean but better look. I am still not too sure about the image however it looks better than the old one since the cover lines can be placed better over this image. I have also changed the cover lines.

Here is the final version of my contents page. I have added the yellow/gold colour since it was used on the Double page spread and changed the text placement a bit as well as wrote some new stuff.

I have re-written my story, quotes and the design has slightly changed. All I need to do now is add one last image since 4 images are required in total. Below is the old version of the double page spread as you can see it has chnaged quite a bit.

I have changed the way the quotes are arranged and changed the other quote to something different

I got inspiration to change the quotation mark things by this magazine you can see the similarities 

without the grid on

I have started my rap magazine double page spread. The black area is where the head shot will be placed. The whole story will be placed under the red text whch is something Snoop Dogg actually said in an interview.

 

I have started my double page spread in Photoshop CC because I am quite familiar with its tools, function and feautres. So far I think it is looking quite good.

All of my images from todays shoot..I have come to a conclusion that i must take these images again in my spare time because rap sexualizes girls and these were not sexual enough.

Cover lines are in different places to be more visually pleasing but they do not mess with the image behind because the main part of the subject, the eyes, is fully visible and still looks dramatic.
